'Primevere' is a plump, anemone-flowered peony whose flowers measure 6 to 7 inches across! Guard petals open blushed-white and mature to all white. Bright lemon-yellow centers provide startling excitement, especially when first opening and the guards are still blushed. Moderately fragrant and a profuse bloomer. Dark, coarse foliage vegetates quickly and forms an attractive backdrop to the spectacular blooms. Plants grow into shrub-like mounds to 36" tall. VERY LIMITED QUANTITY and always sells out early.
