A very early-blooming, SINGLE to SEMI-DOUBLE, 6-inch, pink flower sporting white-blurred petal edges and occasionally dark-pink striations. Stunning. The star-shaped, upward facing blooms average one per stem and give this selection its name. Guard petals are frilled and pointed. Stems reach a reasonable 28" at maturity, and carry narrowly-pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Foliage at time of emergence is red. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. (Scholten, 2022).
