Flare tree peony 'Sweet Magic' (Jing Hong Fei He) has fragrant, magenta-red, lotus-type flowers with an average diameter of over 6". 'Sweet Magic' keeps an open growth habit growing to around 5' tall and somewhat wider. Mature trees produce a very high number of flowers. The seeds of this cultivar are pressed in China and used as medicinal and cosmetic oil.
