'ANDERSON'S KALEIDOSCOPE' Itoh Peony (Paeonia x intersectional 'anderson's kaleidoscope')
Rose-pink 5" flowers highlighted by a kaleidoscope of colors; streaks of sangria, pastel-pink, and cream burst across the petals making this a unique-colored peony. And even more kaleidoscopic, the blossom continues to change its hues as it matures. Mid-season, one bloom per 30" stem. Shrub-like foliage. Does well in partial shade. VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES. (Anderson/Kornder, 2006).

Ordered in May. December came and still had no roots or shipping info. I called, texted, and emailed repeatedly to which I rarely got any correspondence. When I finally got my order, 4 of the roots were cancelled and I was refunded with absolutely NO explanation. Finally got the root with two tiny eyes the size of a pin head, NOT the 3-5 eyes they promise on their website. See for yourself!
I received 3 peonies last week from Champlain. All were healthy and carefully packed in wood shavings. I was delighted to see that Anderson’s Kaleidoscope had 6 eyes. Hopefully there will be a number of good shoots come spring.
I received a very generous bare root clump with many eyes from the Champlain Peony Company. By far the best I have ever gotten from other sources. I can't wait to order others from this supplier.
