'CHERRY HILL' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'cherry hill')
'CHERRY HILL' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'cherry hill')
An HEIRLOOM variety with classic good looks and an impeccable nature. First introduced in 1915, 'Cherry Hill' boasts mid-size, blossoms of rich, deep, crimson-red; one of the best 'reds' we've encountered right up there with 'Red Charm'. The flowers are fragrant and fully-double once established. A vigorous grower, 'Cherry Hill' bears plentiful blooms very-early in the season. An excellent choice for the back of a seasonal border or as a featured early-spring bloomer. Also does double-duty as an important cut-flower cultivar. Grows to 44" in height. (Thurlow, 1915). Heirloom.

Honestly when I opened the box I was shocked. They were the largest, healthiest bare-root peonies I have ever seen. Multiple heathy looking eyes. I can hardly wait till spring to see what they do
