'Crispina' is another 2022 introduction by peony maestro Joshua Scholten. An early to mid-season, semi-double, luscious-pink, herbaceous hybrid, 'Crispina's dark-pink, clitoral flower bud transforms beautifully to robust, bi-tonal, rose-pink, 5 to 6-inch blossoms. This gorgeous selection has a rather spreading growth habit thus, the 34" flower stems do best with some support. A most unusual bud-form and tea-stained coloration place this selection head-and-shoulders above more flashy new introductions.
