'GEORGIANA SHAYLOR' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'georgiana shaylor')

A late mid-season blooming peony, 'Georgiana Shaylor' has been thrilling gardeners for over a century. One of the best introductions by Shaylor, the 8-inch, sweetly fragrant flowers open to a range of shell-pinks throughout each fully-double blossom. Sturdy 32" stems support the main flower and several side-buds which prolong the bloom time for 'Georgina Shaylor'. This selection has become more popular lately and while more vendors are offering it, it is usually offered as only 2/3-eyed roots or sold out. We only offer robust root stock with at least 3/5-eyes and usually more! (Shaylor, 1908). Heirloom.

Bare root 3/5-eye and field stock are available only in late-fall and winter.
