'HADRIAN'S VILLA' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'hadrian's villa')

'Hadrian's Villa' is a large-flowered, early, semi-double to double lemon-yellow hybrid peony. Up-facing, star-shaped blossoms with pink tips on the petals show beautifully in the early-season perennial garden. Outer guard petals on these 7" mildly fragrant blossoms are frilled giving an overall visual effect of movement. 'Hadrian's Villa' grows vigorously in an upright form on sturdy, 30" stems covered in healthy-green, broad pointed leaves. A good yellow peony for cut-flower production. Introduced by Joshua Scholten in 2022.
