'HEAVENLY HINT' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'heavenly hint')

Early/mid-season bloom period. Flower-in-flower DOUBLE. One flower per stem, 5-5½ inches. Soft-yellow in bud, matures to creamy-white, pink flares extending about ¼ of petal’s length impart pink glow to depths of flower. Rounded petals cupped and ruffled. Stamens and pollen, filaments yellow throughout. Not fragrant. Early foliage burgundy to green. Broad pointed foliage, upright growth habit, average height 32-34 inches. (Anderson/Swenson, 2018).

Zones 4-8

Bare roots available only in late-fall and winter.
