'HOUSE OF THE GOLDEN BRACELET' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'house of the golden bracelet')

APS registered in 2022, this scented, early-blooming, lemon-yellow, herbaceous hybrid peony sports loose, double, 8" blossoms on sturdy, 34" stems. On average, each stem produces 2 flower buds, extending your carefully tended blooming period if so desired. The blossom's guard petals are rounded, ruffled, and frilled providing a perfect vessel for the loosely crinkled and folded inner petals.  Stems carry narrow-pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple and are sturdy enough to make mechanical support unnecessary even at full bloom. Presents good potential for cut-flower production. Named for a villa in Pompeii. (Scholten, 2022).
