'KING'S RANSOM' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'king's ransom')

A rare peony to find, this 1952 introduction deserves better availability. 'King's Ransom' is an early, semi-double, brilliant-red stunner. With a flower size of 6 inches, this selection is no shrinking violet in the perennial garden! A vigorous grower with an upright growth habit and average 36" height, 'King's Ransom' is good as a cut-flower, as well. EXTREMELY LIMITED QUANTITY!
