'LAFAYETTE ESCADRILLE' Itoh Peony (Paeonia x intersectional 'lafayette escadrille')

'LaFayette Escadrille' ia a vigorous Itoh hybrid peony with small deep-red blossoms composed of a single row of narrow petals and flashy golden-yellow anthers. This selection is very floriferous and will yield bouquets of flowers for use indoors or out. A mid-season spectacular, this garden work-horse is nearly scentless, but her visual impact more than makes up for this minor 'flaw'. Grows to about 30" tall and does not need staking.
