'LEMON CLOUDS' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'lemon clouds')

'Lemon Clouds' has six-inch, soft lemon-yellow blossoms. The semi-double flower has frilled outer petals of pale-yellow with more rounded and deeper-yellow petals clustered around golden-yellow stamen in the center. Its very sturdy 28" stems make this a stand-up in the perennial garden. Add its single-bloom per stem, and you have an excellent selection for cutting. Very-early blooming season. (Laning/Klehm, 2008).
