The fully-double, rose-type flowers of suffruticosa tree peony (Japan) 'Melody' (Hua Wang) open to an impressive 8 inches in a saturated magenta-red hue. 'Melody's blossoms are even more impressive as they appear later in the season than other tree peonies and are borne on a shrub of only 3 feet in height!
