'MYRTLE GENTRY' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'myrtle gentry')

Our Grandmother's really did know their peonies and this was a favorite. An heirloom treasure from 1925, the rose-shaped flowers of 'Myrtle Gentry' are impressively sized (up to 10” across!) with nicely rounded petals. We love these plants for their soft, hybrid tea-rose scent toward the end of the season. Late mid-season blooming on sturdy 34" stems. Will need support in the garden for best display. After bloom is complete, you are left with a handsome mound of glossy, deep green foliage that will happily anchor other flowering plants in the garden. Excellent as cutting flowers. EXTREMELY LIMITED QUANTITY. (Brand, 1925). Heirloom.

Excellent, healthy tubers with multiple eyes- thank you!

Everything as described, excellent quality, glad I purchased from this seller! Very well packaged; healthy great-looking supple tubers as described. The only downside was that shipping to Canada took longer than I thought but it did not affect the securely packaged tubers one but. Thank you from a happy customer. Would buy again.
