Velvety, ruby-red to fuchsia, fully-double, 6" blooms are displayed on sturdy, erect, 36" stems. Stems may bend with heavy rain when in full bloom. An unusual color for the blooming time and flowers do not fade like many reds. The spectacular blooms are an excellent cut-flower with a pleasant fragrance. Considered by many growers as the best red for use in the garden and commercial cutting. Late mid-season. (Wild & Son, 1964). Heirloom.
