‘Pink Balloon’ was introduced to the peony world in 2020 making it an extremely difficult variety to source! A semi-double, princess-pink flower that blossoms in mid-season. The bud swells from the inside, its layer upon layer of crepe-textured petals creating a gorgeous, gravid shape before fully expanding into a flower of impressive proportion and beauty. There is no other peony that we have found that has this flower behavior. A rarity indeed. Plant stems grow to 32 inches and each carries only a single bud. SIMPLY STUNNING.
