Peony 'Quirinus' is an early mid-season, semi-double to double red peony. The flower bud is rose-bud shaped and opens to a lovely rose-red flower. Outer guard petals are frilled and occasionally ruffled. Flower are a dainty four-inches with one flower per stem. As a cutting peony for hand-held bouquets, there is no equal. 'Quininus' is a vigorous grower with an attractive upright growth habit and healthy green foliage that makes a short bush. Considered a dwarf-type with an average height of only 27.5 inches making this a perfect front border peony. (Scholten, 2022).
