A large, saucer-shaped, single bloom tops each sturdy 32" stem on peony 'Requiem'. Two rows of delectably waxy, white petals kissed with a rose wash surround a tall stand of golden-yellow stamen, themselves nestling the bright cranberry-red stigmas. A stunning early-blooming peony that deserves a place in every garden. Bees and other pollinators love the abundant pollen and sweetly scented nectaries. (Saunders, 1941).
