'SUMVITG' Peony 'Paeonia x lactiflora 'sumvitg')

'Sumvitg' has an exceedingly-pale, violet-pink wash over the petals of a beautiful, seven-inch, anemone-style blossom. Rows of near-white petals flushed with the faintest violet encircles a center of yellow staminodes and pure-white petaloides.  This complex transformation of subtle color is best seen in morning light. Excellent, healthy foliage keeps the 3-foot bush attractive all season. Very early blooming. 'Sumvitg' will be one of the first double peonies ready to cut.
