Also known as 'Laning’s Best Yellow', 'Sunny Boy' has a fluffy, fully-double blossom of medium-yellow with purple-red flares at the petal bases. Fragrant. Foliage is deep-green on 30″-36" stems that stand fairly erect and do not generally require staking. A rather early fully-double peony, it is likely to be the first in your garden to bloom for cutting. (Laning, 1985).
