'Temple of Bacchus' is the finest example of an apricot-colored, fully-double herbaceous hybrid peony. This outstanding brand new introduction has character long-sought by peony collectors and breeders. Smooth, lime-green flower buds transform to light-pink as they prepare to unfurl. The beautifully shaped blossom startles with a kaleidoscope of apricot hues of exquisite substance with each undulating petal stroked with creamy edging. The breathtaking display evolves through cream and ivory hues, finally settling into an antique white. Simply stunning. Outer guard petals are frilled and ruffled.
