Peony 'Temple of Mars Ultor' is an early mid-season, semi-double, herbaceous peony. The upward-facing, red rose-shaped flower bud, opens to beautifully deep-red blossoms with a 'golden center' of yellow stamens. The uniquely shaped 6" flowers are borne one-per-stem and present like Hybrid Tea Roses. A vigorous grower, 'Temple of Mars Ultor' has an upright growth habit, healthy green foliage of broad pointed leaves and grows to a comfortable 26". Introduced in 2022 as an unregistered seedling by Joshua Scholten. Excellent for cutting.
