'CANARY BRILLIANTS' Itoh Peony (Paeonia x intersectional 'canary brilliants')
'Canary Brilliants' is a relatively new intersectional variety introduced in 1999. An exquisite cultivar, this warm-hued orange garden beauty grows quickly and is exceptional for cutting. 'Canary Brilliants' comes with all the best qualities of each of her parents. It prefers to retire into the more lightly-shaded parts of the garden but is also successful in the northern sun. Hot southern sun will fade its blooms into short-lived yellow stunners. When happy, a single specimen will provide a bouquet of varying colors in the garden. One of the best in the collection. LIMITED QUANTITIES. ONLY THREE ROOTS PER CUSTOMER. (Anderson, 1999).
Zones 4-8
Bare root 3/5-eye and field stock are available only in fall and winter.
