'CHIPPEWA' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'chippewa')

Peony 'Chippewa' is a fully-double, dark-red, lactiflora hybrid that flowers mid to late-season. The variety is a strong grower to 40" and is very limited in availability making 'Chippewa' a real collector’s item. This selection is mostly used as a garden peony and needs support when the spice-scented blooms are fully open. Provided with some light shade, 'Chippewa' will be one of the finest red flowers in your late-spring garden.
