A semi-double, carmine-red flower top a dwarf plant that grows to only 20". Like its sibling 'Paladin', the tulip-shaped, 4" flowers have a light fragrance and upward facing habit. Very tidy and ready to be a hit in the front of the border where other peonies are too large to shine. Blooms mid-season and does well in warmer areas. (1950).
