Nearly 100 years in the peony world, 'Jan van Leeuwen' has large, single-cupped flowers with a brilliant yellow stamen-stuffed center. 'Jan van Leeuwen' flowers mid to late-spring blooming on tall, three-foot stems, this selection makes an excellent cut-flower. Because the flowers are light and airy, the stems do not need support to manage its floriferous nature. Stately and elegant with a light fragrance. Still popular a century after introduction is a testament to the beauty and utility of this timeless peony. LIMITED QUANTITY. (van Leeuwen, 1928).
