'POPPEA SABINA' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'poppea sabina')

An early, semi-double, medium-pink, rose-shaped, 6-inch blossom. 'Poppea Sabina' is a stunning herbaceous hybrid with smooth buds that open to voluptuous pink flowers edged in light-pink. The outer guard petals are frilled and ruffled with occasional striking dark-pink stripes. Stems freely produce side buds. Vigorous grower, upright growth habit, healthy green foliage, broad pointed leaves, and an average height 36". (Scholten, 2022).
