'Vanilla Schnapps' is a fragrant, semi-double to fully-double garden peony with large, light-yellow, blossoms whose color washes to near-white with age. Broad petals are fluted with notched margins, and surround a cluster of yellow stamens. In the center are red stigma which factor nicely in the semi-double open flower. Side buds extend blooming period. A dependable bloomer with ample color on a substantial, tall bush. Sturdy, erect, 40" stems carry the flower above the semi-glossy, dark-green foliage that remains attractive throughout the growing season. 'Vanilla Schnapps' makes a great presentation in the flower border, furnishes fine stems for the vase, and attracts honey bees and other pollinators. Flowers early mid-season. LIMITED QUANTITY.
