'YELLOW BIRD' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'yellow bird')

A semi-double, 6 to 7-inch blossom reigns proudly one per 32-inch stem. Light-yellow rounded and cupped petals guard softer-yellow inner petals that may show some red edging. Fragrant. Support is not needed. Awarded Certificate of Merit iby American Peony Society and subsequently advanced to Court of Honor as Best Seedling.(Johnson/Adelman, 2019).
